Liquid I.V. vs LMNT: which has more sodium and less sugar?
LMNT has double the sodium of Liquid I.V. One LMNT Citrus Salt stick has 1,000mg sodium, 200mg potassium, 60mg magnesium, 0g sugar and 5 calories. One Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier Lemon Lime stick has 500mg sodium, 370mg potassium, 11g sugar and 50 calories, with no magnesium listed on its label. Liquid I.V. Sugar-Free Lemon Lime keeps the 500mg sodium and 370mg potassium but drops sugar to 0g and calories to 20. So LMNT wins on sodium and magnesium, Liquid I.V. wins on potassium, and the original Liquid I.V. is the only one of the three with real sugar. LMNT is sweetened with stevia leaf extract (Raw Unflavored is unsweetened). Liquid I.V. Sugar-Free uses what the brand calls an allulose blend. All figures come from each brand's own nutrition labels.
